A
landmark since 1971, Genitti’s originally
started out as a meat and grocery store. In November
1979, owners John and Toni opened their restaurant
when a hole was knocked out of the market’s
side, giving birth to Genitti’s-Hole-In-The-Wall.
In 1981, the restaurant was expanded to the building
next door. Fall of 1985 brought yet another expansion
with the downstairs dining room, bar and gift shop
which were later converted to provide additional
dining space. Genitti’s Little Theater which
is just next to the restaurant is accessible through
yet another hole-in-the-wall was acquired in 1992.
With
each of its expansions, Genitti’s has maintained
their original, highly successful formula of providing
excellent food and a comfortable, relaxed way of
dining and entertainment.
The seven-course family-style Italian dinner is
a guaranteed delight. Like an old Italian wedding,
it features lots of food, served hot. The dinner
starts off with homemade soup followed by pasta,
antipasto salad, then Italian sausage with green
peppers and onions, Italian steak with potatoes,
baked chicken with zucchini and cannoli for dessert!
After dinner everyone heads into the theater to
see our inter-active comedy show. The show changes
every four months but is always a fun inter-active
comedy!
Genitti’s is a one
stop source for all your entertainment needs. From
lunch to dinner theater featuring the interactive
comedy shows that Genitti’s has become known
for, there is certainly something for everyone.
Genitti’s also does children's
lunch theater with a family style lunch and interactive
show, perfect for families, birthday parties and
scouting events. Genitti’s is also GREAT for
sports banquets, rehearsal dinners, Bar/Bat mitzvahs,
graduation parties, retirement parties, funeral
luncheons, baby showers, bridal showers and many
more!
Truly
a family business, The tradition continues with
John and Toni’s children who have taken an
active role in the business. Andy and his wife Leslie
with their children Drew and Mia, Laura and her
husband Kirk with Avery and Olive also John and
Toni’s youngest Christina 17 can be spotted
around the store causing trouble! Come home to Genitti’s
where we treat you like family··.
